How to compare RAM
Your platform decides which memory fits, and price and speed decide the rest. This page lists every RAM kit we track with a current offer in one table, with capacity, speed, timings and number of modules. Value is an optional ranking for weighing price against the specifications you need.
Compare capacity and memory generation
Choose DDR4 or DDR5 for your platform and the capacity you need, then compare kits within them. Value never rewards gigabytes you did not ask for.
Compare speed and latency
Transfer rate (MT/s) and CAS latency sit side by side, so a faster-looking kit with loose timings can be told from a balanced one.
Compare current RAM prices
Each row is one kit as it is sold: capacity, speed, timings and number of modules, so two sticks of 16 GB and one stick of 32 GB are never mixed up. Open a row to compare retailers.
Use Value within compatible memory kits
Value weighs price against capacity and speed once the generation is fixed. Pick a use case or set the weights yourself, or leave priorities off to compare on price alone.

Questions about comparing RAM
What should I compare when buying RAM?
Memory generation first (a board takes DDR4 or DDR5, not both), then capacity, speed and latency, the number of modules, and finally the current price.
DDR4 or DDR5?
It is decided by your motherboard and processor, not by preference: a board takes one generation only. Filter by memory type to see the kits your platform can use.
What matters more, speed or latency?
Both. Real latency depends on the two together: a higher transfer rate with a proportionally higher CAS latency can respond no faster. Compare them side by side rather than looking at one number.
How much RAM do I need?
It depends on the work. Many everyday and gaming PCs are comfortable with 16 GB, 32 GB suits heavier multitasking, content creation and demanding games, and workstation or virtual-machine work can use more. Filter by capacity to keep only the kits that meet your target.
One module or two?
Most desktop platforms run fastest with two matched modules (dual channel). A kit lists its number of modules; filter by it if you plan to add memory later.
How often are RAM prices updated?
Offers are refreshed as market snapshots; each offer shows when it was checked. Retail prices can change at any time, so confirm the final price on the retailer's site before buying.
What does the Value score mean?
Value is a relative score from 0 to 100 under the priorities you choose. Each weighted factor (performance, price, capacity and so on) is compared with the rest of this market, the factors are combined, and the best result in the current view scores 100. Turn priorities off to browse by price alone.
