Performance and where it ranks
Two different questions, side by side. Performance compares what the hardware can do; Value compares what that capability costs at today’s price. A product can rank high on one and low on the other — that gap is the point.

This scenario carries a requirement candidates are checked against first: CUDA — Many local-LLM and diffusion toolchains are CUDA-only. ROCm and Vulkan builds exist and work, but they are not drop-in — check your toolchain before treating a non-NVIDIA card as an equivalent swap.
Chosen by capability in the same scenario against today's market: the closest current product that is not a downgrade, the cheapest current product within 10% of its capability, and the best Value among products at least 30% more capable.

FAQ
Why is there no current price for the RX 6600 XT?
None of the retailers we track lists a new RX 6600 XT today. We keep the last offers we observed as dated history, but we do not present them as today's price and they never enter Value or rankings. Capability grades and specifications do not depend on an offer and stay current.
What is a fair used price for the RX 6600 XT?
It depends on what today's market offers for the same money, not on a percentage of an old price. Enter the asking price in the price check on this page: it scores the RX 6600 XT at that price against current products under your priorities and shows the prices at which its Value would be strong.
What should I upgrade to from the RX 6600 XT?
For the same capability today, the closest current product is Arc B570; for a meaningful step up, RX 9070 XT is the best Value among products at least 30% more capable. The upgrade planner on this page ranks options by what they add for the money you actually spend after selling your RX 6600 XT.
