What "no current offer" means

A product that stores no longer list keeps its page. Its facts and grades are still true. Its price is not.

Lessons · No current offer

What the page still shows

  • Specifications and grades. Grades never used price, so they do not change when offers vanish.
  • The last offer we saw, with its date, marked as not current.
  • The closest alternatives that are on sale now.

What it does not show

  • A current price. With no current offer there is nothing to compare, so the product has no Value in the market.
  • A claim that it is discontinued. We say a product is discontinued only when there is evidence. Offers running out is not evidence.

What you can do with it

  • Score a used listing. Facts and grades are there to score your price against. See Check a price you found.
  • Plan an upgrade from a product you own, even if stores no longer sell it. See Plan an upgrade.
  • Find a replacement in the closest alternatives on its page.
